The 2021 reformulation of Dior Homme Sport strips the original’s mint and woody-fresh complexity down to a leaner, more atmospheric proposition — one that trades sheer brightness for a more sophisticated, slightly abstract quality. The opening is sharp and luminous: lemon, bergamot, and aldehydes create a sparkling, almost crystalline citrus accord that is clean and cool without being cold. The aldehydes in particular lift the composition, giving it an airy, slightly soapy effervescence that feels timeless rather than dated. The heart introduces elemi and pink pepper — resinous, slightly ozonic, and gently spiced — adding depth and a subtle aromatic warmth that bridges the bright opening to the dry base.
